The monitoring should be maintained over fibre.


To do this we will get the fibre installer to disconnect the copper network from the demarcation (the copper connection into your property) and feed the phoneline from the ONT (Optical Network Terminal – we provide phone and internet from there) back into the copper in your home. This allows all of your existing jack points and devices to function on the fibre connection.

We do however advise that you should contact your alarm monitoring company to ensure that there are no additional requirements for your alarm system.
