Below you will find a list of popular email clients and instructions on how to setup a nowmail address with them.

If your device is asking for specific email settings, check out the basic settings below: 


Incoming server settings:

  • Server:  pop3.nowmail.co.nz
  •  Port:  110
  •  SSL:  Off
  •  Username:  The name before the '@nowmail.co.nz'
  •  Password:  This should have been supplied to you.


Outgoing server settings

  • Server:  smtp.nowmail.co.nz
  •  Port: 25 (or port 2525)
  •  SSL:  Off
  •  Authentication: Password
  •  Username:  Same as incoming username, the name before the '@nowmail.co.nz'
  •  Password:  Same as incoming password, this should have been supplied to you.



Outlook: 2002 Version  

  • Open Outlook, select the Tools menu and then E-mail Accounts.
  • Select Add a new email account. Click the Next.
  • On Server type page select POP 3 then click next to continue.
  • In your name field type in what you want people to see when they receive an email from you. In the email field type in your Email address.
  • Incoming mail server pop3.nowmail.co.nz, Outgoing mail server smtp.nowmail.co.nz.
  • Username field  add username.
  • Password field add password.
  •  Tick remember password.


Outlook: 2003 - 2007 Version  

  1. Open Outlook, select either Tools or Accounts (Depending on what custom has available)
  2. Select Account Settings then New and type of email account (Exchange, POP3, IMAP…) next
  3. Tick Manually Configure next then Internet Email.
  4. Fill in User Info Display name, Email address and Server info. Incoming mail server: pop3.nowmail.co.nz, Outgoing mail server: smtp.nowmail.co.nz
  5. Fill in Log on Info username and password


Outlook: 2010 - 2016 Version

  • Open Outlook, go to File tab.
  • Click Add Account.
  • Then Manually Configure server settings next.
  • Select Internet Email next.
  • Fill in User Information, Server Information and Log On Information.
  • Under Deliver Messages to there are 2 options New Data file creates independent mailbox for each mail address, other option will merge mailboxes together.


Thunderbird:

  • Open Thunderbird
  • Under the Accounts section choose Email.
  • From “Would you like a new email address” select Skip this and use my existing email address .
  • Enter details in Account set up (Name, Email address and Password) and click continue.
  • Click Manual config.
  • Set up the Incoming and outgoing server addresses. Incoming mail server: pop3.nowmail.co.nz, Outgoing mail server: smtp.nowmail.co.nz
  • Click Retest then done you will need to acknowledge there is no security on the servers, this will complete set up.


Windows Live Mail:

  • Open Windows Live Mail go to Accounts.
  • Click on Email.
  • Enter Email address, password and Display name.
  • Click Configure Manually then next Configure server settings. Incoming mail server: pop3.nowmail.co.nz, Outgoing mail server: smtp.nowmail.co.nz.
  • Click next, then done.


Android:

  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll through to Mail Contacts and Calendars
  • Click Add account then select other
  • Then Add Mail Account (make sure it is setting up as a POP account)
  • Enter required User info (Name, Email address, password and description) next
  • Enter server information. Incoming mail server: pop3.nowmail.co.nz, Outgoing mail server: smtp.nowmail.co.nz.
  • If SMTP auth is on then make sure outgoing server is authenticating via password.
  • Click Next set up account without SSL will verify twice asking if you want to set up without SSL.
  • Check Port settings Incoming 110 and outgoing either 25 or 2525.


iOS (Apple iPad or iPhone):

  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll through to Mail Contacts and Calendars
  • Click Add account then select other
  • Then Add Mail Account (make sure it is setting up as a POP account, not imap)
  • Enter required User info (Name, Email address, password and description) next
  • Enter server information. Incoming mail server: pop3.nowmail.co.nz, Outgoing mail server: smtp.nowmail.co.nz.
  • If SMTP auth is on then make sure outgoing server is authenticating via password.
  • Click Next. iOS will double check twice you don't want to use SSL. Tap "Yes" to acknowledge you want to set up the account without SSL.
  • Check Port settings Incoming 110 and outgoing either 25 or 2525.
  • Tap done.
